Biographical
Barb graduated in 1988 and was called to the bar in 1990. As a litigator, she appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada and a wide variety of statutory and appellate tribunals.
For the last 23 years Barb has focused her practice exclusively on mediation and arbitration and has experience in a broad range of areas including:

Insurers and claimants in bodily injury, errors and omissions and property claims

Insurers, property owners, lessees, design professionals and others involved in construction, property, commercial leasing and expropriation disputes

Transportation disputes - marine, aviation, and rail

Employers, contractors, and employees involved in employment, WCB, OHS, privacy and discrimination disputes

Class Actions and large multi party suits
During the last 23 years Barb has given numerous presentations to members of both the legal and related professions on matters such as mediation skills , advocacy and ethics. She has also mentored and continues to mentor many ADR professionals.
