Biographical

Gaynor is a mediator and partner at Whitelaw Twining.  She has litigated over 25 years, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, and is recognized by Best Lawyers® in Canada as a leading practitioner in both Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation.

Gaynor’s experience and knowledge, from decades of litigating in an array of specialty areas, has been advantageous to her practice as a mediator. Along with her technical understanding of litigated issues, she brings an intuitive and compassionate approach to mediation.

Gaynor is an active volunteer in the legal community, providing pro bono work, support to lawyers, and mentoring to both students and young practitioners. She has been recognized by the Vancouver Bar Association with the prestigious Peter S. Hyndman Mentorship award. Gaynor is currently serving her third term as an elected Bencher of the Law Society of BC.
